Text Formatting
The web editor provides keyboard shortcuts and a context menu for formatting text in your messages.
Keyboard Shortcutsβ
Select text and use these shortcuts to toggle formatting:
| Shortcut | Format | Yarn Tag |
|---|---|---|
Ctrl+B (Cmd+B on Mac) | Bold | text |
Ctrl+I (Cmd+I on Mac) | Italic | text |
Ctrl+U (Cmd+U on Mac) | Underline | text |
Example:
- Type a message:
This is important text - Select the word "important"
- Press
Ctrl+B - Result:
This is important text
Pressing the shortcut again on already-formatted text removes the tags. For example, selecting important and pressing Ctrl+B produces important.
Context Menuβ
Right-click on selected text to open the formatting menu with all available options:
| Option | Tag | Shortcut |
|---|---|---|
| Italic | ... | Ctrl+I |
| Bold | ... | Ctrl+B |
| Underline | ... | Ctrl+U |
